Yes, they did state that the directions were challenging. Actually, the directions consisted of a not-too-clear image with the cage with numbers and lines pointing to different parts with the cage. I called the company listed on the invoice and talked to a gentleman who could not believe that the directions were not sufficient. We did handle to assemble it but had pieces left.

We could not place the seed-catcher on because the parts wouldn’t align. We’re going to attempt to bend them so they will align, but haven’t done it but. General, I such as the cage and Ed, our Senegal Parrot, seems to love it. So, if you’re not simply frustrated, I would recommend this cage. If you are not mechanically inclined, this really is not for you personally.

This is a truly fantastic cage for the money. In the handful of shops that I checked, I didn’t discover anything that even came close to this. If I had, I’m certain it would have price a lot much more money than what Amazon is promoting it for. There’s a ton of room, simple access towards the interior, and nice big wheels that roll easily over hardwood flooring and carpet.

I do have a few minor complaints, although: one of the vertical bars isn’t soldered at one finish; two with the three perches are loose-fitting and move when jumped on; the black dishes make it very tough to determine what’s in them, so I’ll replace them with clear dishes.

I absolutely love this cage. I purchased one last August for my cockatrice and he is very pleased with it. There is lots of room for his toys and multiple perches. Since then I’ve brought a parakeet into our family, and I’m going to purchase this exact same cage for him also, as he is Extremely jealous with the cockatrice. They every come out and play together every day, and frequently the parakeet is inside this cage, trying to make it his personal. I adore the stand with the shelf on the bottom, which is exactly where I shop a bag of additional toys/treats/millet and their bird food.
