Holds seed or suet feeders, plants, or whatever you want to hang from the deck or porch railing. The green finish is attractive and tough. For the hook end section, the 2 units I received have a slightly different configuration than the pictured bracket. Mine curl under, which I like better than the convoluted hook in the illustrated version. UPDATE: the Amazon photograph of this deck bracket now looks like the ones I received. As of January 2010 mine are still going strong, look great, no rusting, very happy with them.
