The squirrels have done their best and have had to settle for seed that falls to the ground. It has certainly kept the greedy rodents out, and since I’m not feeding six or eight squirrels every day I have been in a position to afford to provide a much more expensive no-mess type of seed that the birds love. Also, I’ve a similar tube feeder in which the seed freezes up on super-cold days and the birds can’t get it out, but with the Squirrel Buster Classic the seed has flowed freely even on wet winter days.

I’m guessing this is because of its ventilation program. The top is extremely easy to get off and on and it is simple to fill and clean. It feels extremely sturdy and nicely produced. I just couldn’t be happier with this bird feeder and highly recommend it. I’ve attempted various squirrel proof bird feeders and pepper flavored seed and nothing else has worked 100% like this bird feeder.
