Best Price Xtreme-Cage New Parrot Bird Cage Plays W/stand on Wheels 20x20x58 (Black), Review This really is a stunning cage. It was difficult to put together and I worried it would not be sturdy, but once we got it done, it was fine. Bird loves it and it is holding up nicely. This is great if you’ve a large parrot you need to easily take out, but if you’ve cage accessories like seed guards that you want to hike up the bottom of the cage, the door gets in the way. The top of the cage also opens up and comes with a perch you can put between the flaps, leaving the best of the cage open as a play area. My dumb bird won’t crawl via that hole though and insists on going through the front.

The cage is a really nice size for a little to mid size bird. My only complaint was the directions were really vague. After playing around with it it finally went together simply. It seems to be extremely sturdy and will give years of good use.

This cage works out really nicely for the two Cockatiels and Parakeet I’ve in the same cage. A bit hard for them to manipulate to the top bar, but easy to be able to place up there. They love the large front door. Very simple to roll close to. A cinch to clean also.

I have three cockatiels in this cage, and they have plenty of room. The pan at the bottom is plastic and at very first I did not like this, but I now see that it easier to clean, and it will not rust. I have a quick clip on both of mine to maintain the small rascal where he belongs. Now if I could find a way to keep the small nosy guy out of the bottom tray I would have it licked. It has just sufficient opening for him to pop his head in a pull the paper out. I’ve resorted to utilizing an oil cooking spray on the bottom tray and no paper and just wipe it out and rinse it off.

Customer Reviews

Strong, huge, affordable bird cage.
This is the kind of cage you get in a store for 250 dollars and up (at least in NY). For a 100 dollars, this cage is a steal. It is extremely large, easy to disassemble (though slightly confusing to build), and comes with very sturdy metal feeding and drinking bowls. One thing that can be both good or bad depending on your bird/personal preference is that the door to the cage is HUGE. It takes up almost 3/4ths of the front of the cage and resembles a doggie door. This is good if you have a large parrot you want to easily take out, but if you have cage accessories like seed guards that you want to hike up the bottom of the cage, the door gets in the way.

The top of the cage also opens up and comes with a perch you can put between the flaps, leaving the top of the cage open as a play area. My dumb bird won't crawl through that hole though and insists on going through the front.

My current setup: one sun conure in this big cage, which is VERY spacious for him, one 3/4th in perch, one smaller balancing perch, one rope perch, and one medium sized rope/leather toy. Even with these things the cage is still spacious and my bird seems to enjoy his new abode.

GOOD QUALITY CAGE FOR NOW! Though I am a bit concerned about the metal of the cage itself; it seems painted (albeit very well), so I hope my bird doesnt scratch it off and eat it.

Happy Conure
This is a beautiful cage. It was hard to put together and I worried it would not be sturdy, but once we got it done, it was fine. Bird loves it and it is holding up well.

Written directions Please!
The cage though not exactly what I wanted, has served its purposes for almost a year now. Written directions on assembly would have been a welcome addition to the cage, but once I figured it out I felt foolish for being so upset about the missing assembly instructions. I have three cockatiels in this cage, and they have plenty of room. The pan at the bottom is plastic and at first I did not like this, but I now see that it easier to clean, and it will not rust.

Nice Cage
The cage is a very nice size for a small to mid size bird. My only complaint was the directions were very vague. After playing around with it it finally went together easily. It seems to be extremely sturdy and will give years of good use

Very Large
This cage works out very well for the two Cockatiels and Parakeet I have in the same cage. A bit difficult for them to manipulate to the top bar, but easy to be able to place up there.
They love the big front door.
Very easy to roll around.
A cinch to clean also.
